Ginger Bennett - Vocals

 

Ginger hails from South - East London - Lewisham to be precise and moved to the Kent Coast 15 years ago.  Ginger, a relative newcomer has been performing in Kent since 2003. Following a successful sporting career Ginger returned to her first affection, music. Ginger is also Lead vocalist for Project F and has provided guest vocals for Glass House, The Ray Guntrip Quintet and the Lisa Davies Big Band and backing vocals for various projects by request. 

 

Lawrence Fletcher - Saxes & Flute

Former lead from Fletch and member of Burrito Cat and ProjectF and the Doug Sides Quintet. A Saxophone Clarinet and Flute player much in demand in the live music circuit

 

Martin Goodsmith - Keyboards & Guitar

Martin Goodsmith  has a background in film-making and is also an accomplished jazz guitarist, member of ProjectF and the musical brain behind Glass House Jazz. Martin is the current festival director of the Margate Jazz Festival

Matt Goodsmith - Drums

Matt has played percussion with many original acts including  Flakey Jake. A deft jazz touch stars at many London Jazz jams

Kevin Richards - Percussion and Backing Vocals

Kevin has played percussion with many original acts including Kofi Dako's Sa Mon Di and Flakey Jake. His dedication to exploring African rhythms has taken him to Ghana where he studied djembe and he possesses a rich vocal tone that the band like to fully exploit.

 

 

Daniel Cano  - Trumpet

Daniel is a graduate of Superior Conservatoire of Music in San Sebastián and has performed and recorded with well known jazz artists such as: Pedro Cortejosa, Paco Charlín, Bob Sands, Doug Sides, Wilfried Wilde and many others. He has also recently recorded his own album, entitled "Don't Touch The Blue", released by Blue Asteroid records.

 

 

 

Peter Cook - Sax

Originally from Oxford, Peter has built a solid reputation in performing and teaching saxophone in SE Kent. "As a musician I love reading other people's ideas, but it is also important to stretch people to think and express themselves too."

 

Mateusz Gocek - Bass

Mateusz, originally from Poland, studied Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College in London

 

 

Jonathan Ward - Drums

Jonathan studies music at Goldsmiths University London 

Frances Knight - Keyboards

Jazz musician/composer/writer, Frances initially studied Fine Art then gradually made a switch to jazz piano, beginning her apprenticeship by playing gigs around London and studying at Goldsmiths adult education with Howard Riley eventually joining Guildhall School of Music jazz course.
